Shelley Lazar- businesswoman, board member, philanthropist:

No stranger to the rock ‘n roll world because of her career with Bill Graham Presents, Shelley Lazar was always doing the “thing” she did so well – keeping the artist happy. Because of this, she knew she had to be involved with The Taylor Family Foundation (TTFF). It was the introduction to Lazar that helped take the foundation to the next level. As most know, it’s hard to miss Elaine’s passion for the kids, and Lazar, having worked as a public school teacher in Brooklyn, and herself an advocate for children and underserved populations, took a liking to Elaine, and helped show her the ropes.

After branching out on her own in 2002, Lazar created an industry of VIP Concert Experiences at SLO Ticketing, garnering VIP passes to concerts that even A-List celebs couldn’t get into. The tickets to the Elton John Academy Awards party and private concert that sold for $50,000- those were secured by Shelley Lazar. The Rolling Stones, The Who, Madonna, PINK, Paul McCartney, backstage passes, private cocktail parties and entrance to VIP events – there was hardly anything she couldn’t get her hands on!

Throughout the years, Lazar’s ticket donations to TTFF’s Live Auction allowed the foundation to raise over a million dollars to send kids to camp.
